About Sunnybank Hills
Sunnybank Hills is an outer southern suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, located 17 kilometres south of the CBD. Originally part of Coopers Plains, the area was formally defined in 1971 and named after the nearby Sunnybank railway station, itself named for the Sunny Brae Estate. The suburb has a strong multicultural character with a significant Chinese community.
