About Brisbane Airport
Brisbane Airport is a suburb on the edge of Moreton Bay, Queensland, established in 2011 from parts of the neighbouring suburbs of Eagle Farm and Pinkenba to cover the airport precinct. Brisbane's first aerodrome opened at Eagle Farm in 1925 on former agricultural land, and the present airport moved to its current site beside the bay in 1988. The locality is on the traditional country of the Yugarabul people.
