About Alderley
Alderley is a leafy northern suburb about 7 km northwest of Brisbane's CBD, established in 1878 and known for its mix of traditional Queenslander homes, post-war cottages and modern townhouses set among tree-lined streets. Bordered by Newmarket, Ashgrove, Enoggera, Grange, Stafford, Kedron and Everton Park, notable landmarks include Alderley railway station, Sedgley Park and the Newmarket Pool. The area is currently undergoing suburban renewal focused around the South Pine Road corridor.
