Kippa-Ring is a residential suburb at the centre of the Redcliffe Peninsula in the City of Moreton Bay, about 31 km north of Brisbane. The name derives from the Kabi word "kippa" (young uninitiated man) combined with "ring," referencing a bora ring that once stood near the area. Kippa-Ring serves as the commercial hub of the peninsula, home to the Redcliffe Peninsula railway line terminus, Peninsula Fair shopping centre and Talobilla Park sports complex.
