About Clontarf (Moreton Bay - Qld)
Clontarf is a coastal suburb in the south-west of the Redcliffe Peninsula in the City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, about 34 km by road north-north-east of Brisbane. The Clontarf estate was sold as a residential subdivision in 1882 on land formerly planted as Dr Ward's sugar plantation. The Hornibrook Bridge crosses at the suburb's southern tip.
