About Rothwell
Rothwell is a coastal suburb on the Redcliffe Peninsula in the City of Moreton Bay, about 35 km north of Brisbane CBD. Situated on the shores of Hornibrook Esplanade overlooking Bramble Bay, it is known for the heritage-listed Hornibrook Bridge used for fishing and pedestrian access, and the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens nearby. The suburb features a mix of canal estates, parkland and shopping amenities, with tidal mangroves and low-lying coastal flats.
