About Irishtown (WA)

Irishtown is a farming locality in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, about 7 km north of Northam and 85 km from Perth. The Avon River and its tributary the Mortlock River North run through the locality. It developed as a farming community from the late 19th century, supporting the agricultural economy of the Northam district.
