About Burlong
Burlong is a rural locality about 13 kilometres north-east of Northam in the Wheat Belt of Western Australia. Adjacent to the Avon River, the nearby Burlong Pool is a notable deep pool historically used for water trains to the Eastern Goldfields before the Goldfields Water Supply Scheme. Broadacre grain and livestock production is the main land use.
