About Buckland (WA)
Buckland is a rural locality in the Avon Valley of Western Australia, located approximately 12 kilometres from Northam in the Shire of Northam. The area is notable for the heritage-listed Buckland Homestead and Farm Buildings, a group of stone structures dating from 1836 with a Georgian-style two-storey home built in 1860. The Avon Valley is one of Western Australia's earliest farming regions.
