About Hill River (WA)
Hill River is a large rural locality in the Shire of Dandaragan in the Wheatbelt region, about 170 to 190 kilometres north of Perth between Badgingarra and the coast. The area is dominated by broadacre wheat and livestock farming on the coastal plain, named after the 86-kilometre Hill River that flows west through the locality to the Indian Ocean south of Jurien Bay.
