About Grey
Grey is a shack settlement of about 127 hand-built shacks on the coast of Western Australia, 150 km north of Perth and 20 km north of Wedge Island, within Noongar country. Formerly called Green Island, it grew from a Yued camping place into a fishing village in the 1950s as the rock lobster fishery expanded.
