About Spalding (WA)
Spalding is a northeastern suburb of Geraldton in the City of Greater Geraldton, Western Australia, located 5 kilometres northeast of the Geraldton central business district. Gazetted on 16 February 1979, the suburb is bounded by the North West Coastal Highway to the west, Bedford and Koojarra Streets to the south and the Chapman River Regional Park to the north and east. The Chapman River flows through the suburb. The Eadon Clarke Sports Centre and Spalding Park Golf Course are key recreational facilities. Spalding is bordered by Sunset Beach, Waggrakine, Moresby, Bluff Point, Beresford, Webberton and Strathalbyn.
