About Grassdale (Vic.)
Grassdale is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Glenelg Shire of south-western Victoria, in the pastoral hinterland south-west of Hamilton. It lies on the volcanic plains, cleared for sheep and cattle grazing and mixed cropping, and is crossed by the Stokes River. The locality has its own small airfield, Grassdale (Ardgartan), and a Country Fire Authority station.
