About Dalmore

Dalmore is a small farming locality in the Shire of Cardinia in Victoria, about 58 kilometres south-east of Melbourne. Formerly known as Koo-Wee-Rup West, it was renamed in 1909 after the estate of Duncan McGregor; the name combines the old words dale and more, meaning valley and pond. A post office operated from 1913 until 1977.
