About Waterford Park
Waterford Park is a small rural locality in the Shire of Mitchell in central Victoria, about 62 km north of Melbourne and 13 km south of Broadford, at the foot of Mount Disappointment in the Great Dividing Range. The district was once part of the Clonbinane pastoral run taken up in 1843, and the locality retains open farmland and bushland, with the Waterford Park Reserve providing a playground and recreation space and the forested slopes of the range offering walking and camping country.
