About Sunday Creek
Sunday Creek is a locality in the Shire of Mitchell in central Victoria. The district was a productive goldfield worked from 1880 to 1920, yielding around 41,000 ounces of gold along an 11 km belt of reefs, and its historic workings are now the subject of renewed exploration for gold and antimony.
