Hawkhurst is a small rural locality in the Wellington Shire of Gippsland, Victoria, in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range east of Heyfield. The area is characterised by undulating cattle country, plantation timber and native bushland at the northern edge of the Gippsland Plains, near the Avon and Mitchell rivers.
