About Fairy Dell (East Gippsland - Vic.)
Fairy Dell is a locality near Bruthen in East Gippsland, home to the Fairy Dell Flora Reserve, an 80-hectare pocket of warm temperate rainforest within the Bruthen State Forest. Established in 1984, the reserve is known for its moss-covered trees, tree ferns and native orchids. It was destroyed in the 2019-20 bushfires and reopened in 2023 after the walking tracks were rebuilt.
