About Waterholes

Waterholes is a small rural locality in the East Gippsland region of Victoria, in hill country north-east of Bairnsdale between the Bruthen and Clifton Creek districts. A state school served the area as Waterholes Creek from 1902 until 1920, and the district remains sparsely settled farming and bush country.
