About Yackandandah
Yackandandah is a town in north-east Victoria, about 28 kilometres south of Wodonga and close to the tourist town of Beechworth. Founded on alluvial gold discovered in the 1850s, it retains a well-preserved nineteenth-century streetscape, with its High Street recorded on the Register of the National Estate. The town hosts the annual Yackandandah Folk Festival.
