About Bruarong
Bruarong is a small locality in the Upper Ovens Valley in the Shire of Indigo, situated about 15 kilometres from Myrtleford in north-eastern Victoria. Originally known as Sutton, the settlement was established around 1853 during the gold rushes to Beechworth and Yackandandah and later became a quartz-mining centre.
