About Rubicon
Rubicon is a rural locality in the Shire of Murrindindi in central Victoria, situated on the Rubicon River at an elevation of 838 metres. The area was once home to a significant timber industry and is the site of the Rubicon Hydro-Electric Scheme established in 1928, now listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.
