About Moormbool West
Moormbool West is a rural locality in the Strathbogie Shire of central Victoria, about 110 kilometres from Melbourne. The area borders the former Moormbool Forest, which from the 1880s supplied mining timbers and firewood to Bendigo via the McIvor Timber and Firewood Company tramline. Today it supports broad-acre farming and grazing on open country.
