About Boorolite
Boorolite is a small rural locality in the Shire of Mansfield in north-eastern Victoria, situated in the Victorian Alps approximately 50 kilometres east of Mansfield. The area is characterised by cattle grazing, timber harvesting and remnant mountain ash and eucalypt forest on the steep terrain of the Great Dividing Range. Boorolite lies within a landscape of cleared grazing land, dense native bushland and the forested slopes of the Victorian Alps, with the nearby town of Jamieson providing local services.
