About Ironbark (Vic.)
Ironbark is a suburb of Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, located two kilometres north-west of the Bendigo CBD. Named after the Ironbark Gully, a rich alluvial gold digging area from 1852, the suburb has significant gold rush heritage including the Gold Mines Hotel (1857). It offers affordable housing within walking distance of the Bendigo CBD and railway station.
