About Faraday
Faraday is a small rural locality in the Harcourt Valley of central Victoria, about 12 kilometres south-east of Castlemaine in the Mount Alexander Shire. Named after the scientist Michael Faraday, the area is characterised by rolling farmland, eucalypt bushland, and apple orchards in the central Victorian goldfields region.
