Chewton is a town in the Mount Alexander Shire of Victoria, Australia, located 116 kilometres north-west of Melbourne. Established in 1851 during the gold rush, it attracted over 30,000 diggers. Features include the historic Town Hall, the Red Hill Hotel, and the still-operating Wattle Gully mine.
