About Rocklyn
Rocklyn is a locality in the Shire of Hepburn in central Victoria, in the former gold-mining country between Daylesford and Ballarat. The Rocky Lead deep lead was worked during the gold rushes, and a railway station opened on the Ballarat-Daylesford line in 1887 as Rocky Lead; it was renamed Rocklyn in 1910 and closed in 1953.
