About Spalford
Spalford is a rural locality in the Central Coast local government area of north-west Tasmania, about 13 kilometres south of Ulverstone. Gazetted as a locality in 1962, it is believed to be named for Spalford in England. The locality lies in the productive dairying and farming country of the north-west coast's hinterland.
