About Henley Beach South
Henley Beach South is a coastal residential suburb of Adelaide in the City of Charles Sturt, South Australia, located nine kilometres west of the Adelaide CBD. Lying between Henley Beach Road and the River Torrens Outlet, the suburb features a beach extending its full length and Torrens Linear Park along the river outlet on its southern boundary. Henley Beach Primary School, known as Hazel Terrace, serves the area and the Catalina Flying Boats Memorial at William Atkin Reserve commemorates the suburb's aviation history. Trams serviced the suburb until 1957.
