About Fulham (SA)

Fulham is a residential suburb of Adelaide in the City of West Torrens, South Australia, located eight kilometres west of the city centre on a bend in the River Torrens. Purchased around 1836 by John White, the area was named after Fulham in London. The White family home Weetunga, built around 1878 by Samuel White, is on the South Australian Heritage Register, as is The Oaks in Henley Beach Road. Linear Park along the River Torrens provides the largest greenspace in the suburb. The Fulham Falcons Cricket Club was established in 1905.
