About Kidman Park
Kidman Park is a western suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, located 6.7 kilometres west of the city centre within the City of Charles Sturt. Established in 1954 by the South Australian Housing Trust, it was named after pastoralist Sir Sidney Kidman. The suburb lies between Grange Road and the River Torrens, with Findon Road as its eastern boundary. Linear Park extends along the River Torrens on its southern boundary, and Collins Reserve, home to the Fulham Cricket Club, is a notable feature. Kidman Park Primary School has served the community since 1967.
