About Watalgan

Watalgan is a rural locality in the Bundaberg Region of Queensland, located about 12 kilometres east of Rosedale and 46 kilometres north-west of Bundaberg. Named after the Watalgan Range, believed to be of Aboriginal origin, the locality features sugarcane and mixed-farming country. The North Coast railway line passes through, and the area lies just 7 kilometres from the coast.
