About Rosedale (Qld)
Rosedale is a rural town and locality in central Queensland on the North Coast railway line, about 58 kilometres north-west of Bundaberg. It is unusual in being split between the Gladstone Region and the Bundaberg Region. The town was named by Catherine Little, who suggested the name after her family settled overlooking Baffle Creek in the early 1850s; the railway arrived in 1892.
