About Toogoom

Toogoom is a coastal town and locality in the Fraser Coast Region of Queensland, on the western shore of Hervey Bay. First settled in 1855 as a pastoral run, the area was subdivided into smaller farms from the 1870s. The town centre sits where Beelbi Creek enters the bay, with housing extending along the creek and the Hervey Bay foreshore.
