About Thinoomba
Thinoomba is a rural locality in the Fraser Coast Region of Queensland, 31.8 km west-south-west of Maryborough. The Mungar to Monto railway line had a siding at Thinoomba from 1889 until its closure in 2012, and the siding gave the locality its name. Thinoomba State Forest occupies the north and east of the locality.
