About Mungar
Mungar is a rural locality in the Fraser Coast Region of Queensland, about 20 kilometres south-west of Maryborough in the Wide Bay hinterland. The Mary River forms its eastern boundary and the North Coast railway line passes through from the south, with a station at Mungar. The surrounding country is predominantly agricultural, typical of the productive farming land that supports the Fraser Coast region.
