About Kawl Kawl

Kawl Kawl is a rural locality in the South Burnett Region of Queensland. Its name is derived from an Aboriginal word meaning scrub magpie. The area is primarily used for grazing on native vegetation and crop growing, and was once served by the Proston railway branch line which opened in 1923.
