About Mount Mceuen

Mount McEuen is a rural locality in the Wide Bay region of Queensland, located about 28 kilometres east of Murgon and 259 kilometres northwest of Brisbane in the South Burnett Region. Dominated by Mount McEuen itself, a prominent pointed volcanic peak rising to 525 metres above sea level in the south-east of the locality, the area supports grazing on native vegetation with some crop growing. Mondure State Forest lies in the west of the locality, and the mountain was used as a vantage point by surveyors in the earliest days of preparing subdivisions for closer settlement and farming.
