About Mondure
Mondure is a rural locality in Queensland's South Burnett Region, set among rolling grazing country roughly 20 kilometres west of Murgon. The name derives from the Mondhur pastoral run established in 1844 by Richard Jones, taken from a Waka Waka language word meaning small ant. The area supports cattle grazing and broadacre farming.
