About Gooroolba

Gooroolba is a rural locality in the North Burnett Region of Queensland. The name derives from the Gooroolballan sheep station established in the 1850s. The Degilbo to Wetheron railway line opened a siding at Gooroolba in 1905. The area is used for grazing on native vegetation near the Bin Bin Range. A war memorial honours local World War I veterans.
