About Wetheron
Wetheron is a rural town and locality in the North Burnett Region of Queensland, about 27 kilometres north-north-east of Gayndah on the Burnett River. The area was the site of Wetheron Head Station, a 24,000-acre pastoral run established in 1845 by William Humphreys and Henry Arthur Herbert, and the former Mungar to Monto railway passed through the locality.
