About Bukali
Bukali is a rural locality in the North Burnett Region of Queensland, located approximately 7 kilometres north-east of Monto on the Gladstone-Monto Road. The locality takes its name from the Bukali railway station on the Byellee to Monto line completed in 1931, believed to be an Aboriginal word meaning either cold or bad smell. The area features farming and grazing land in the Burnett Valley.
