About Bidwill (Qld)
Bidwill is a small rural locality in the Fraser Coast Region of south-east Queensland, situated in the Mary Valley hinterland approximately 30 kilometres south of Gympie. The area is characterised by dairy farming, cattle grazing and macadamia growing on the rich volcanic soils of the Mary Valley. Bidwill sits within a quiet agricultural landscape of rolling green hills, remnant subtropical vegetation and scattered rural properties typical of this part of the Gympie region.
