About Teddington
Teddington is a rural locality in the Fraser Coast Region, situated approximately 16 kilometres west of Maryborough along Tinana Creek. The Teddington Weir, constructed in 1875 as part of the first water supply scheme for Maryborough, remains a key raw water source and is listed on the Fraser Coast Local Heritage Register. The surrounding land is used predominantly for sugarcane growing and grazing on native vegetation.
