About Beaver Rock
Beaver Rock is a rural locality in the Fraser Coast Region of Queensland, located approximately 10 kilometres east of Granville and 12.5 kilometres east-north-east of Maryborough on the south bank of the Mary River. The locality takes its name from a rock in the Mary River and includes the Brothers Islands group. Beaver Rock Reserve provides habitat protection along the riparian zone near declared Fish Habitat Areas and the Great Sandy Strait Ramsar Wetland.
