About Maaroom
Maaroom is a coastal locality on the Great Sandy Strait in the Fraser Coast Region, about 20 kilometres south of Maryborough. The village offers views across the strait to K'gari and is known for fishing, boating and its all-weather boat ramp. It is part of a cluster of small fishing communities accessible via the Great Sandy Strait Discovery Drive.
