About Wangaratta (Qld)
Wangaratta is a rural locality on flat alluvial plains in the fertile delta of the Burdekin River, bordered to the south by Wangaratta Creek. The land is predominantly used for grazing on native vegetation with some sugarcane cultivation near the Bruce Highway, which forms the locality's western boundary.
