About Cape Cleveland
Cape Cleveland is a coastal locality in the City of Townsville, encompassing the headland that separates Cleveland Bay from Bowling Green Bay. Named by Captain Cook in 1770, it is home to an active heritage-listed lighthouse and lies within Bowling Green Bay National Park, roughly 35 kilometres east of Townsville.
