Alabama Hill is a small residential suburb on the western fringe of Charters Towers in North Queensland, located 136 kilometres south-west of Townsville. It forms part of the historic gold-mining city of Charters Towers, which grew rapidly after gold was discovered at Towers Hill in 1871.
